Don't Overlook These Bargain Quality Cookware Sets
Not everyone can afford high end cookware, and not everyone needs it! There are times when all you want is low cost quality cookware sets. You don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for a cookware set for your college kid to use in his or her dorm, and if you have a vacation home or trailer you don't need All Clad or Le Creuset or Calphalon.
There are lots of places where you can find low cost quality cookware sets. Look at the sales at stores that carry overstock items such as Tuesday Morning. This is a hard anodized non stick cookware set that includes 1 qt and 2 qt saucepans, 5 qt covered Dutch oven, 8" and 9.5" frying pan. This cookware set has tempered glass lids for see-through cooking. It's a bit more modern then the set mentioned above (which doesn't have lids) and has more pieces. This set runs $50.
We did mention above a no-name brand of cookware for sale at Target. The fact there is no name, and it's so cheap may make some people uncomfortable about buying it. That is fine. Check out their low cost cookware from Essentials by Calphalon. There are those that say you should stick with name brand products, even the lower priced lower quality name brand product then buy no-name products. Know what you are buying when you are looking for low cost quality cookware sets. Generally low cost cookware sets have a thinner thickness then what you'd find on more expensive pots. Food cooked in them may burn or scorch easily so pay attention when cooking in them. A pan that is too thin may also warp if it is placed on too high of a cooking heat. Following on the suggestion that you buy brand name look for this low cost cookware from Hoffritz. It's the Hoffritz Platinum 10-piece stainless steel cookware set. This cookware set retails around $90 and would be worth the investment. Sabatier offers a 10 piece cookware set that is sold along with mixing bowls and stainless steel kitchen tools. The Sabatier Precision 20-piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set sells around $100. It's a good bargain if you need more than pots and pans in the kitchen. If you're looking for low cost quality cookware sets that are similar to Le Creuset you may want to look into enameled cast iron cookware manufactured by Range Kleen. They sell a 5 pc. cookware set that includes a 5 qt casserole with lid, 2 qt saucepan with lid and a 10" frying pan for $197. The same cookware pieces from LeCreuset would cost you around $330. Even if it's low cost quality cookware sets you're look for make sure you shop around so you get the best deal. Don't forget to check online to see what kind of deals you can find.
